Already hold your Non-Tidal Day Skipper or Coastal Skipper qualification? Looking to gain the skills and confidence to sail in tidal waters and charter anywhere in the world?
Our Skills-Based Tidal Experience Week is designed for sailors making the transition to tidal cruising. Set in an excellent cruising area, this practical 6-day course focuses on hands-on experience and building confidence on the water.
During the week you will cover:
- Boat handling and close-quarters manoeuvring
- Pilotage and passage planning
- Estimating tidal heights and tidal streams
- Navigation in tidal waters
- Building confidence under sail and power
- Logging miles
Why take a full week? Because tidal sailing skills develop through practice and experience. Spending extended time on the water allows you to improve your navigation and, more importantly, build confidence in handling a boat safely in tidal conditions.
Price €1150 including vat
Price Includes:
- 6 days and 5 nights on board
- Approximately 125 miles logged
- Duvet, pillow, bedding and towels
- Quality home-cooked food using local producers (where possible)
- All breakfasts, lunches and evening meals aboard are included except one evening ashore.
